Delivery and placement is the second stage of our swimming pool installation process, the moment your pool arrives and is set into the prepared site. Because San Juan fiberglass pools are manufactured as a single, pre-formed shell, this stage moves quickly, but it demands precision.
Delivering the Pool Shell
Your fiberglass shell is built at the factory and transported to your property in one piece. Our team coordinates the delivery and stages the equipment and access needed to move a large shell safely onto your property without disturbing the surrounding yard or the work already done during excavation.
Setting the Shell in Place
Using a crane or other appropriate equipment, we lift the shell over your home or yard and lower it into the excavated hole. This is a carefully coordinated lift, with the shell aligned to the exact position planned during the layout stage so it drops in true the first time.
Leveling and Final Positioning
Once the shell is in the ground, we level it precisely and confirm it sits plumb and true. Even a small deviation affects the waterline and the fit of the surrounding deck, so we take the time to get it exactly right. If your design includes an attached spa or a tanning ledge, those elements are positioned at this stage as well.
Filling and Backfilling Together
With the shell set, we begin filling the pool with water and backfilling around the outside at the same time. Doing both in tandem keeps the water pressure inside the shell balanced against the backfill pressure outside, which protects the fiberglass and holds the pool in its exact position as everything settles into place.
