Setting and finishing is the final stage of our swimming pool installation process, where the pool is permanently secured and the surrounding space is completed. This is where a set shell becomes a finished backyard.
Locking the Pool in Place
To anchor the shell permanently, we pour a twelve-inch collar of concrete around the entire perimeter of the pool. This lock-in bonds the shell to the ground, prevents any movement, and gives the coping and deck a solid, stable edge to tie into.
Plumbing and Equipment
With the shell locked in, we complete the plumbing and connect the pool's equipment, including the filter and pump. We can also install the Pool Frog mineral system, which keeps your water clean and clear with far less chlorine and minimal day-to-day maintenance, and is gentler on skin and on the pool shell.
Coping, Decking, and Hardscape
Next we finish the visible parts of the pool. Coping caps the edge of the shell, and from there we build the paver pool deck and connect it to any surrounding patio, walkways, or seating walls. Because we handle both the pool and the hardscaping, the deck and pool are designed as one cohesive space with proper drainage and clean transitions, rather than two separate projects stitched together afterward.
Startup and Final Details
Finally, we bring the pool online: balancing the water chemistry, testing the equipment, and walking you through how to care for your new pool. The result is a finished, ready-to-use backyard built to hold up through Delaware's seasons.
